White Glutinous Corn Plant
For the production of chicha-corn, we utilize the white glutinous variety of corn. This variety is grown in the provinces of La Union, Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte, Abra, Cagayan and Isabela. It is cropped twice a year alternating with rice plant.

We implement proper white glutinous corn ears selection to make sure that we get good quality main raw material for the processing of chicha-corn.
Corn Harvest
Corn ears should be harvested at their proper maturity state to yield a good quality kernels to be processed.
Corn Kernels
The corn kernels are quality-controlled prior to processing to yield good quality chicha-corn.

The corn kernels are properly processed to produce good-quality chicha-corn. It takes 7 days to complete the processing, from kernel to finished product.
